Hello Edison Families,

Good morning! Here is the link to the Edison School Otter Morning Show for Wednesday, October 14, 2020:

A reminder that the Readathon continues this week, ending next Monday!  In case you missed it, here is the link to the virtual assembly with more information for students to hear about!  Readathon Virtual Assembly

Also remember that you can sign up for the Edison Schoolwide Google Classroom class for STUDENTS to use to see the Morning Show, as well as get information on other schoolwide events and activities. Here is the link to sign up:  (Class code:  26eep5x).  

Note:  As mentioned in the show today, the Morning Show will no longer be posted on the Edison Website after this Friday.  It will continue to be posted on ParentSquare and on the Edison Schoolwide Google Classroom class, so be sure to sign up for it!

  • International Walk & Roll week


  • Annual Sneaker Drive - It’s time to gather your used sneakers and shoes!  The Go-Green committee is happy to announce that the SNEAKER DRIVE is returning October 19-23!  This year we have teamed up with Project Sole and Road Runner Sports to collect ALL TYPES OF SHOES for donation world wide as well as recycling if they no longer can be worn.

    Shoes should be placed in a plastic bag and can be dropped off at the following collection boxes:
    • 2711 Buena Vista Avenue (driveway, across from Edison)
    • 2509 Encinal Avenue (driveway)
    • 1623 High Street (driveway)
    • Alameda Free Library- Bay Farm and Main branches (8:30a-5pm)
    • The Boneyard on Park St/San Jose - box will be inside the gate
